Four more tunnel boring machines (TBMs) have been ordered by the Allan Labor government in what China has announced as the largest single purchase in Temu’s history.
The machines for the northern section of the Suburban Rail Loop will be supplied by one of the world’s leading manufacturers of TBMs, after a Victorian government official found the machines on the popular App.
“It was great!,” said the official. “I spun the wheel and got 100% off my transaction, although the price hasn’t appeared to change.”
The tunnel boring machines have the capacity to bore approximates 90 metres a week, so can cover around one kilometre every 11 weeks.
With Beijing approximately 9100 kilometres away from melbourne, if they leave soon, they should arrive in around 1925 years.
“They call this the Big Build, but this is just massive,” said the government official.
“Think of all the phantom shifts, bikies on the payroll, and cost over-run potential on a journey of this length!”
